Happy Thanksgiving

We are enjoying a lovely Thanksgiving day in our home. The boys worked hard in the yard this morning and I prepared the meal so we could eat promptly at 11:00 a.m. ... We are still on toddler time around here! Anyways, we enjoyed food and talking about what we are thankful for this year. Here are a few snapshots from the day...

Baby Ben is thankful for three new teeth (for a total of five!) to help him enjoy the Thanksgiving feast. He can eat turkey with the best of 'em now!

Henry (since he doesn't talk much yet) is clearly thankful for the remnants of his meal. And the sweet potato pie finale.

Alex is thankful for the trash truck, Mommy & Daddy, and brothers. In that order. =) He's also thankful he has such a gracious and fun-loving Daddy, who allowed him to borrow these swim goggles for the day. I know they sort of make it appear that Alex has special needs, but really he is just super excited to wear something that belongs to Daddy all day. So cute.

Daddy is thankful for God who gives us so many good things, Mommy, his boys, and his job that he likes to go to everyday. He's also thankful for our new home.

Mommy is thankful for ALL of these boys. So glad God had in mind to give them to us. I'm also thankful for our new home and the joy it gives me to warm it up with good food and fun with our family.

Thankful!

(I'm also very proud of this candle holder Alex made at preschool. It made me very proud to use it as a centerpiece. Who needs pinterest when you have a 3 year old preschooler to make crafts?)
